PunjabChief Minister S. Parkash Singh Badal, along with Union Railways Minister Mr. Suresh Prabhu, former Union Minister, Member Parliament Mr.Sharad_Pawar and other dignitaries inaugurated Baba Namdev University College at Kishankot today. This is a step of Punjab Government towards strengthening the ties between Punjabis and Maharashtrians. The state government has also made a humble contribution in giving a facelift to the memorial of Shaheed Rajguru in native town of this great national hero in Maharashtra. It was a proud moment for us as the entire ‘intelligentsia of Maharashtra’ visited the state today.

ਵਿਰਾਸਤ-ਏ-ਖਾਲਸਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਭਰ 'ਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਸਮ ਦਾ ਨਿਵੇਕਲਾ ਅਜੂਬਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ 500 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਾਮੱਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ 'ਚ ਦਰਜ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਭਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। 6500 ਵਰਗ ਮੀਟਰ 'ਚ ਫ਼ੈਲੀ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਇਮਾਰਤ 'ਤੇ 239.35 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਖਰਚੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਵਿਰਾਸਤ-ਏ-ਖਾਲਸਾ ਦੀਆਂ 30 ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 14 ਗੈਲਰੀਆਂ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਦੇਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਧਰਤੀ 'ਤੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਵਿਰਾਸਤ-ਏ-ਖਾਲਸਾ ਦੇ ਮਿਊਜ਼ੀਅਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਛੱਤਾਂ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲਾਈ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਪਿਆਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ 'ਚ ਹਨ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਗੋਲਾਈਆਂ 'ਚ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਸਟੇਨਲੈੱਸ ਸਟੀਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਮਕਦਾਰ ਪਰਤਾਂ ਧੁੱਪ ਅਤੇ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਿਰਨਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕੇਸਗੜ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਲਾ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਉਪਰ ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਸੁੱਟਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਭੇਟ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮੁਲਕ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸੂਬਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪੀਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ 100 ਫ਼ੀਸਦੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਦਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ। ਦਹਾਕਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੋ - ਉਦੋਂ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦੀਆਂ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਨਾਂਮਾਤਰ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤਾਂ ਪਿੰਡ-ਪਿੰਡ ਆਰ.ਓ. ਸਿਸਟਮ ਲੱਗ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਪਾਣੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਹੈ ਅਸਲੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ!

The real development - 100% of population in Punjab has access to safe drinking water. And Punjab is the first state to achieve this milestone in India. A decade back no such amenities were there but now each village has its own RO system. This is what makes Punjab ahead in developmental parameters.
