ਮੇਰੀ ਅੱਜ ਦੀ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਫੇਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਅਗਾਂਹਵਧੂ ਕਦਮ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਵਿਚ 11.88 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਧੀ ਦਰਜਨ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਨਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਵਿਕਾਸ, ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਏਜੰਡਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਅੱਜ ਕੋਠੇ ਦੁੱਲਟ, ਕੋਠੇ ਗੁਰੂਸਰ, ਗੰਜਾ ਧਨੌਲਾ, ਕੋਠੇ ਸਰਾਵਾਂ, ਕੋਠੇ ਚੂੰਘਾ, ਕੋਠੇ ਮਹਿਤਾ, ਕੋਠੇ ਵੜੈਚ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਠੇ ਬੀਕਾ ਸੂਚ ਪੱਤੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਖੜਵੰਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਲਿੰਕ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਵੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ।

Barnala visit was another step forward towards development as various projects pertaining to the area were initiated costing Rs. 11.88 crore. Foundation stone of new link roads & interlocking systems at Kothe Dullat, Kothe Gurusar, Ganja Dhanaula, Kothe Sarawan, Kothe Choongha, Kothe Mehta, Kothe Waraich and Kothe Beeka Sooch was laid. A project of sewerage and clean drinking water at Handeaya was also initiated.

The state government has also made a humble contribution in giving a facelift to the memorial of Shaheed Rajguru in native town of this great national hero in Maharashtra. ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਵੀ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸਬਸਿਡੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ 5,600 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।

FREE POWER to farmers have been provided for last 9 years in Punjab. Rs 5,600 crore has been earmarked for power subsidies this year, including Rs 655 crore for rural poor who get free electricity supply.

ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਈ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਸਵਾਈਐਲ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਕਦੀਂ ਵੀ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਸਿੰਚਾਈ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਾਂਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹਾਂ, ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਦੂਜੇ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਬੂੰਦ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

ਅਸੀਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਹਿੱਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਕਦੀਂ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਦੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ, ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਐਸਵਾਈਐਲ ਨਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹਾਂ, ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਦੂਜੇ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਬੂੰਦ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

Punjab is the first state to introduce Cashless Health Insurance Scheme under Bhagat Puran Singh Bima Yojana for blue card holders, farmers, traders, employees and pensioners.The scheme has been started with a sole purpose of providing cashless healthcare in nearby hospitals of residences of beneficiaries since there was a broad list of empanelled hospitals situated in every nook and corner of Punjab. Besides cashless treatment to the extent of Rs. 50000 and an insurance of Rs.5 lac in case of accidental death or incapacitation of head of family.

Punjab govt is the only government in India which has paid attention to all segments of the society through its social welfare schemes! Benefits of Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Bila Yojna has been provided to construction workers as well
