ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਦੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ 'ਚ ਅੱਜ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਗ਼ਰੀਬ ਪੱਖੀ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਿਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ 1 ਅਪਰੈਲ, 2009 ਤੋਂ 31 ਮਾਰਚ, 2016 ਤੱਕ ਸੂਬਾ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਗਨ ਸਕੀਮ ਹੇਠ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਕੀਮ ਲਈ ਦੇਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਗਨ ਸਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਹੱਕਦਾਰ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ 'ਚ ਈਸਾਈ, ਸੈਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਮਗੜੀਆ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਤਿੰਨ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਬੋਰਡ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਿ ਈਸਾਈ ਭਲਾਈ ਬੋਰਡ, ਸੈਣੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਬੋਰਡ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਮਗੜੀਆ ਭਲਾਈ ਬੋਰਡ ਵਜੋਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਇਹ ਬੋਰਡ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਮਸਲੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਲ ਲਈ ਸਿਫਾਰਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
It was a pro-poor decision-making day in Cabinet meeting where approval was given to consider all those families under Shagun scheme from April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2016 across the state, which had applied after the prescribed period was over but otherwise eligible. The Cabinet also created three separate boards for the welfare of Christian, Saini and Ramgharia community, which would be represented as Christian Welfare Board, Saini Welfare Board and Ramgharia Welfare Board. These Boards would look into the issues and problems faced by the respective communities and would recommend solution to their problems.
