Development of Sri Amritsar Sahib
Punjab government is all set to develop Sri Amritsar Sahib as one of the best cities in the country by year 2017. Continuing the vision, a masterpiece entry point plaza would also be constructed soon near Sri Durgiana Mandir to provide best facilities to the devotees visiting the religious place. Sincere efforts would be made to complete this plaza in next 3 to 4 months which would host adequate parking besides other required facilities.
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸਾਲ 2017 ਤੱਕ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਲਕ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਅਤਿ-ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ 'ਚ ਸ਼ੁਮਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਚਹੁੰ-ਮੁਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ 'ਚ ਜੁਟੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਤਹਿਤ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦੁਰਗਿਆਣਾ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਲਦ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪਲਾਜ਼ਾ ਉਸਾਰਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਤੀਰਥ ਅਸਥਾਨ 'ਚ ਦੇਸ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤਿ-ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸਰਵੋਤਮ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਣ। ਪਲਾਜ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਲੇ 3 ਤੋਂ 4 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਪਲਾਜ਼ਾ 'ਚ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਖੁੱਲੀ ਵਾਹਨ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਖਿੱਚ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
